Paragon Behavioral Health Services started in December of 2017 as a small, women-owned behavioral health company with co-owners, Dr. Kryn McClain and Paulina Colonna as the sole providers. Paragon is defined as a person or thing regarded as a perfect example of a particular quality. If one thing was clear when we discussed our naming our business, it was that we were striving to build something that would be a model of excellence, so “Paragon” fit perfectly.
Where we really shine is in our philosophy of caring for the caregiver.
Too often, we found ourselves working in the drudges of healthcare where the providers are overworked, burned out, and underappreciated. We take our people-first philosophy into the core of our company because we believe if you take care of your people in healthcare, we can all work together in reaching our mission.
